About

I currently have two distinct categories in my shop.
1-Custom signs for use on mailboxes or homes.
2-iPhone/iPod docks with speakers.

For the signs I am currently sticking to a nautical theme and hope to use Etsy to broaden my customer base. This whole thing started when I had an idea for my mailbox. When we bought our house the mailbox was this pathetic wood clad thing that was half falling over. The numbers were barely visible on the post and one was sideways. Shamefully, I have to admit, I didn't do anything about it for 4 years. I had all sorts of ideas about what I could do with this mailbox. I wanted something nautical. I had ideas of having this crazy sailboat looking thing that swayed in the breeze all they way to just putting a little anchor or something next to the numbers. When I came accross King Color Core, I instantly saw a nice simple mailbox with a sail attached to the post with the address proudly displayed. This material is pretty awesome. It can be carved, engraved, routed and will last forever with essentially no maintenance. Take a look at my shop and if you like what see, let me know.

If you are still reading this you are probably wondering about the iPhone/iPod docks I mentioned way up there. Well that all started recently when I cam across a custom request for an iPhone dock with speakers made from a tree branch. I just happened to be looking for a new product/project to offer in my shop and also happened to have a nice oak branch looking for a good use. With some good old ingenuity and a bit of engineering I had a product that actually worked out better than I expected. I have a lot of ideas ranging form ultra modern to natural to steampunk for iPhone docks. Stay tuned.
