About

I started making jewelry for myself, friends and family. I found it so much fun and very therapeutic that I got carried away with my creations and had to find an outlet to sell some of what I made. I do local craft shows, and sell my jewelry on Etsy. My style is primarily a casual, bohemian, nature style, but I do try some of the statement jewelry and "bling" from time to time.

For this spring/summer season -- Keep an eye out for my sun catchers. I like to use an assortment of beads to create an indoor/outdoor sun catcher that you can enjoy year round. I have different styles and themes available and am open to custom requests for your ideal sun catcher. One of the reasons I can offer my creations at such reasonable prices is that I also operate a bead shop here on Etsy - http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheBeadBungalow
I'm able to purchase my materials at wholesale prices. If you're looking for a custom creation, be sure to check out my supply of beads and feel free to suggest a creation from any of those beads. They are all within my immediate grasp.

I recently started creating jewelry storage/displays from recycled materials. I take ordinary objects and put them together to create a one of a kind piece for you to display and store your jewelry. No two of these will ever be the same. Sometimes it's a bare bones box that I've decoupaged and embellished. Other items might be a compilation of wood, glass and glamour.

Another item I started making in 2014 - The boot bracelet, aka Boot Candy - This creation was met with much enthusiasm. Many boot bracelets were sold during my craft shows (Nov - Dec 2014). I've also been asked to feature my creations in a small shop near home. This will be a new venture for me in 2015.

My third shop, which was a way for me to "clean out my craft closet" is a collection of items used for crafting.
Check it out here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PurpleBethsPotpourri

Most of my energy goes into operating the Bead Bungalow, but I'm rarely far from the computer or my phone.. Send me a message and I'll get right back to you.
