.................................................................................................................................

And here´s a bit more about me...

I was born and raised in beautiful sunny Barcelona, Spain, surrounded by the hills and the Mediterranean sea. Already at an early age I just had to doodle like everywhere, having a leaning towards walls, neverending canvases to put on whatever came out of my imagination. I was always caught up at some corner of the house, pencil in hand, scribbling indecipherable shapes, improving my parents´patience, good-natured, creative spirits that always kept me surrounded with arts and crafts. Also I remember carrying at all time something really small with me, be it a toy, a piece of wood or paper... Anything that could just fit into my then also small hand wich therefore would always remain closed, keeping such precious treasures.

Years passed, the love for pencils, doodles, ephemera and everything tiny always remaining, growing fonder and getting together with a passion for handmade.
In 2001 I got a degree on graphic design from BAU Arts & Design school and began working as a graphic designer, ultimately focussing on editorial design.
Then in 2007 I moved to Berlin committing to giving a try to my true passion, drawing, and so becoming a freelance illustrator, mainly working on surface design, stationery and children games. Since I had been within computers for the last years, my illustrations were all basically digitally made, very colorful and full of textures and details. Yep, I´ve been a Photoshop and Illustrator freak for a while now. Still I´ve always felt a need for playing with physical materials and textures, so I combined my everyday dose of bits and pixels with handmade projects, making tons of crochetted amigurumi characters as well as small wooden figures, custom toys...

At this point of the story I feel it´s time to finally make come true a dream I´ve been having for long, to self produce goodies with my artwork and those tiny doodles that I have never stopped making. Pytteliten are products for your everyday with a mix of happy, sweet, magic powders and simplicity. All with the hopes to make you smile and enhance, if possible, your very own dreams. Because I believe that sticking to one´s dreams is the best bet that can be made.
