However, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing and I opened this shop to sell vintage supplies, tools and publications.

For many years, I have participated in my neighborhood FUNdraiser, the Woodruff Place Flea Market. My own personal sale has been branded Quality Junk since 1989 and I decided to extend some of that merriment year 'round by opening an Etsy shop just for textile items that I'm sure are looking for more appreciative homes. Plus, many of these items deserve to be sold in a more sedate, respectful environment. It gets very wild when 20,000 shoppers are ambitiously searching for bargains in an 80-acre sale!

I have become extremely realistic as I am aging and know that there are so many projects that will fit in one lifetime. In fact, many of the items for sale came from the estates of crafters before me. I do not personally believe that the person who dies with the most fabric wins. I do believe that the person who best uses resources and skills will be remembered forever through the treasured fruits of their labors.
