Linda Rockwell's Profile

About

I can't imagine not creating knitwear. I started knitting when I became a mother and I've been designing and knitting ever since. I love to learn new techniques and find new fibers to "play" with. My favorite things to knit are gifts ... for my friends, family or dogs. I love to give things that I've created and know that people love them.

My knitting inspiration (aka Hero) is Ruth Hickey. Ruth was my grandmother's friend and made me beautiful Barbie clothes when I was little. I still have an Aran afghan that Ruth gave me as a shower gift when I got married. The afghan is still with me, the husband is not! :) It's a treasured item - I can close my eyes and see her watching TV, smoking a cigarette and knitting away.

All knits proudly knit in the USA of mostly American-made fibers!…
