About

My work is driven by the beauty I find in simple materials. As a former student of Architecture, I find excitement in the challenge of creating work that balances function with form. Materials that inspire me are the ones that sit unloved and unfulfilled. I fill my weekly planner with freelance studio work, teaching after school maker classes for kids, adult maker workshops, making espresso at my favorite coffee shop, dinner with friends, thrifting, and lots of cat mom time.

I strive for an intentional lifestyle in every way. We are a no-car household and love hauling materials on a bike trailer and commuting in the dead of Fargo winters on pedal power. We keep ourselves challenged at home; making a lot of coffee in our Chemex, struggling to hang all of our art, and cooking lovely meals. I love my two cats, Bug and Curry, and share way too many photos and videos on Instagram.
