Jewelry care ~ Rare Artisans recommends that you keep your jewelry items separated from each other to avoid damage from scratches and entanglement. We will include an anti-tarnish strip with your piece. Pool chlorine, body oils, perspiration and perfumes can be harmful to your jewelry. Protect your leather, silk cord, and linen from water. Simply wiping your pieces with a soft, clean cloth will keep them looking their best, being especially careful with gold & silver plated items. Sterling Silver items may be polished with impregnated cloth specially designed for this purpose. "Liquid Silver" may be cleaned by putting a small amount of baking powder in your hand and pulling the strands through it, then rub lightly with a soft, clean cloth and blow any remaining powder off. Gemstones may be cleaned with a mild soap and water solution and dried with a soft cloth.
