Ray Harvey's Profile

About

I have been creating since the age of six. Of course at that age, I never could have imagined the traveling, the two hundred and fifty murals, the awards, and the recognition I have been blessed to attain. I'm pleased to display and offer many of my current projects to the viewer at my ETSY store. The objects will change regularly from murals, to paintings, to prints and photographs. I will check in often describing new projects.

Right now during the current holiday season, I have posted my newest work in my Washington, MO Christmas series. This newest painting is titled "Christmas Rush at the Post Office". Many look forward to these annual prints. In 2006 I released a print titled "Christmas at the Calvin", a scene of the Calvin Theater in 1954. The popularity of that art directed me to this annual series. This year's print is the fifth in the series. The scene shows an evening in 1961…

The scene shows an evening in 1961 when the city streets are busy with last minute shoppers trying to mail those last minute gifts. A car is headed home through the snow with the family Christmas tree. On the corner is a popular face...Santa. He sneaks up to the Post Office steps under the watchful eye of the mail man.

I am proud of this painting and equally proud of the high quality signed prints I am offering. The size is a standard 16" x 20". This allows the choice of a beautiful custom frame or an off-the-shelf selection. As the newest series entry, the print is special priced at only $60. Shipping will be through the USPS of course. The print will arrive in plenty of time for Christmas if you order soon.

The original painting is also available. If you are interested in the real thing to grace your Christmas decor, please contact me via email and I will discuss the price and details.
