The love of photography runs deep in my family and because of that, I've had a camera in my hand since I was kid. Attending a family function is like being surrounded by paparazzi - everyone has a camera and is taking pictures of everyone else. :) When I was a teen in the 80's, I was the photographer for the newspaper and yearbook at my high school. Ever since, I've had a photojournalism approach to my work and an appreciation for black and white photography. It is classic and timeless. You'll see a lot of black and white prints in my shop.

My current passion is to capture the feeling of nostalgia and fantasy. I love mid-century modern architecture and Tiki culture and anything that inspires memories of days gone by. An example of this is my fascination (obsession?) with the World's Fair of 1964-65. I wish I could've experienced it, but it happened 8 years before I inhabited this big blue marble.

I love to photograph my hometown, Ventura, California (we have a lot of fun, quirky and vintage architecture here - and miles of awesome beach). I've spent a fair amount of time at Disneyland and like to capture the little details there that are often overlooked. Anywhere I go, my camera goes.

Thanks for reading and for your interest in my work! :)
