ReMarks Designs is a collection of photographs and photographic images created as a result of a Mother's Day Gift. What do you get for a Mom that puts very little value on material things? Handmade gifts, of course! Well, my Mom is famous for sending notecards and cards to family, friends and old acquaintances. So, out to the garden for a few pics of spring bulbs and a line of notecards was created just for her. Since then, I have had two art openings and continuing the process of creating a full line of cards, notecards and prints.

As I browse the Etsy website, I am amazed at how many photograghers pick the same subjects but yet the results are so varying! I am honor to be showing my work along side such great work and when I open my dream "brick and mortar" location someday, I won't have to go far to find my vendors!!

History:

Mary Kay Marks, owner and creator of ReMarks Designs has worked in marketing, promotions, public relations, sales and recruiting for over 25 years representing a variety of products, services, organizations and people. Many years ago, as a store manager working for a goldsmith in Ithaca, she conceived the idea for an "Art Trail" similar to the "Wine Trail" in the Finger Lakes Region. The "Greater Ithaca Art Trail" is now is full swing and although because of a career change she was not involved in it's formation and continuation - she conceive the idea!
