About

Thanks for stopping by and welcome to my supply shop. I use and hand dye plenty of silk roving, wool, mohair and angora fibers for my handcrafts and I started to spin handmade yarns as well. So I decided to set up this supply shop to make all these beautiful fibers and fabrics from India available for you too.

I did social work in many countries such as working in India in slums, in a hospital or in a project with kids affected by HIV; in the Philippines I worked with street children and kids in prison; and in England I helped asylum seeker young people.

During my travels I did some fruit-picking in New-Zealand, backpacking in Bolivia and Peru and one of my dreams came true when I started to travel around in Europe in our cosy motorhome and I hardly can wait to hit the road when I am back in Europe and the weather is warm. I do many of my crafts on the way and use our motorhome as a workshop too.

During my travels and work/volunteer assignments I am always inspired by local arts, crafts and materials. I shuttle between India and Europe for some time and I always bring some exclusive and high quality Indian silk fiber, colourful silk fabrics and silk sarees to make beautiful and unique nuno felted garments.
I found that using silk saree for nuno felting is quite unique so you will hardly see it in other shops. My priotity is to make high quality, affordable and wearable clothing, in the same time you can feel very special in any of these garments.
You can buy these one-of-a-kind and uniqe clothes on my online shop at Etsy, please, visit to www.realfaery.etsy.com

Last but not least I would note that I share my life, travels and work (including running these online shops) with my husband, Jeno who is a social worker too.
