About

My work combines the unique geometry, symmetry and symbolism of the circle. It’s myth and meaning is universal. It denotes time, movement, volume and scale.

Philosophies, ideologies and artistic movements abound concerning this simple form. It represents the infinite nature of energy and matter. As a pattern it denotes movement, rhythm and harmony suggesting scale and sound.

The circle represents a correlation of the interconnected and interdependent forces of the natural world. It's curvilinear contour and profound symmetry make it unique amongst geometric forms. And as a design element it's become a modern day marketing icon.

Influences on my work include: Japanese design, gestaltism and the Tao.
