Gretchyn Loveslife's Profile

About

Redstone Pottery was established in 1982 by Robert Nothhouse. Robert began digging his own clay from his back yard in the heart of the One-Hundred-and-Two River Valley near Savannah, Missouri. Robert was a self trained potter, making most of his own equipment and also developing his own glazes. Through trial and error, and lots of hard work, he created the rich glossy blues and earth hues that he became known for. After nearly three decades of creating functional art for daily life, Robert passed his pottery legacy on to his youngest daughter, Gretchyn Nothhouse. Proudly carrying the torch of her father's artistic endeavors, she continues to produce fine art pottery in his traditional shapes and glazes.
All pieces are safe for the microwave, dishwasher, and oven, as well as being non toxic and lead free.
