Creating is the best stress reliever I know!! The feeling you get from finishing a project that you are really proud of is unmatched. For me, there is nothing better than someone saying to me "Where did you get that bag?" And I proudly tell them that I made it!

I grew up in beautiful Colorado, and never plan to leave again. I started making diaper bags and handbags after my son was born by making my first one as a gift for a friend. I was hooked!! I am fortunate to live in a community where handmade items are really viewed as unique and special, and are part of the culture.

I am a nurse practitioner, a mom, a friend, a wife, a daughter, and am constantly evolving. This shop is my stress reliever, there is nothing like the energy that comes with creating something beautiful that you designed and produced. My goal is to continue to pass that energy…

About

My goal is to continue to pass that energy along to others through each item I make.

Everything I make is unique and I only make one of each item, so you will never see someone else with the same bag. I also use recycled/repurposed materials integrated with new materials in every bag I make. I occasionally use Fair Trade certified batik fabrics and organic cottons along with as many recycled parts as possible in many of my creations. Feel free to take a look, and check back, as I am constantly producing new things!

And starting in November 2011, I am also now donating 10% of all profits from Redstuff Designs to the Nurse Family Partnership! This amazing organization not only does vital work educating and supporting new at-risk moms and babies, they have an incredible reputation as a charity as well. Check them out at www.nursefamilypartnership.org.
You can always connect with me via my website at http://RedstuffDesigns.com, or at my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/RedstuffDesigns. I post news, upcoming events and deals on my website and on Facebook as well as interesting articles and links.
