A life-long Maker of Things, I've grown to be a Creator of Life (my own). My friends joke that when I'm 120 my art cart will only have a twig and a pompom left in it, and I will be driven to create something out of it. And that's true. And, whatever I make, will be exceptional. (If only because I'll be 120 and making anything at all.)

2007 entailed a complete change in my lifestyle, that included the end of my day job in publishing, the development of my own publishing company to publish the books I write and illustrate (Opposable Thumb Press - find me at www.opposablethumbpress.com.) It also brought me lots of extra time to craft. I beaded every bead, knit every skein, stitched every yard, kneaded every square of Sculpey, and I'm still not done.
