Who am I?

I am Becky. I am 27 years old and I grew up in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley of California. At an early age I found myself exploring many different types of creativity; from music, to art, even magic. Well not magic, but all the rest. I love to laugh, and try to have people join in. I am a little shy, but try to express myself anyway, and in every way. I love my gorgeous daughter and dead sexy husband. I love life, and want to cherish every second of it. And although I have a deep appreciation for the “finer things in life” I think I will always appreciate, maybe even a little more, the absurd things in life.

And although I have a deep appreciation for the “finer things in life” I think I will always appreciate, maybe even a little more, the absurd things in life.

What inspires me?

The easier question to answer would be what doesn’t? I can find inspiration in anything: flowers, movies, music, art, and even the random thought trains that start and stop at nowhere, but are an amazing journey (even if you never tell anyone about them). I find beauty in everything I look at, and that beauty is my inspiration.

Who inspires me?

To date, many people have aided in my inspiration. First and foremost Mz. Connie Rohde...the greatest teacher ever! My first introductions to the world of wire wrapping came from Cousin Claudine and Tracy Pettingill. From that moment on I was hooked! I would like to take a moment to recognize the other artists that have been an inspiration to me as well. Eni Oken, Magdalena Borejko, Iza Malczyk…thank you for sharing your wealth of wire wrapping knowledge through your tutorials! And last, but definitely not least, Sarah Moran...you amaze me with your talent!

What can you expect from me?

That is another hard question. My style changes with the wind. I never know what I am going to create next, and what style it will be categorized into. To me, that is one of the best parts of being an artist.

Final words?

Always remember…When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.
