About

I am an artist by nature but my focus is broad, anything with an eclectic theme is very exciting to me. I have been collecting odd bits and pieces for eons and my special Love is Mixed Media & collage!
My Grandmother set a needle and thread in my hands when I was a wee three year old, and it has been a part of my life ever since (which was a fairly long time ago). I'm delighted by a new generation finding hand sewn and handmade things so precious. I've lived all over the United States and visited exotic places around the world. I lived in Santa Fe for some time and Spanish folk art is a favorite of mine as well. There is something about the simplicity and devotion of it that moves my heart. My parents were much like a cat and a dog together, it wasn't the best mix, and we moved so often I became a pack rat later in life. It was strange growing up in the 1950's. The vintage things that are so popular now I grew up with, record players or what we called hi-fi's, telephones attached to the wall with a rotary dial and black and white TV sets with a dial you had to go to the set to turn on. I still have fabrics from when my kids were growing up and I''m deeply grateful to have hung on to them so long. I'll be putting up an eclectic eccentric assortment of items. It's been fun but now it's time to pass them on.
Because I'm such a dreamer I see Art all around me! Making and re making things is such fun!
I hope you enjoy what you see here!
