About

Hello there! I am a mother to two fabulous little girls, former military wife and a veteran myself. My degree is in Russian Language and Area Studies and I am very passionate about social responsibility and education.

My study of foreign language helped me to really develop my memory and association skills. I used these methods to help my girls learn when they were little and I share them with the littles I work with at church. I am always making games and coming up with special little projects to help little ones enjoy learning. This in turn keeps them all engaged and out of trouble. Yay!

When I first started my shop here in 2010 I was looking to find some more fulfillment for myself while staying home to care for my girls. I planned to teach or return to work outside after my youngest was in school full time. I have worked hard over the past few years and…

I have worked hard over the past few years and while my circumstances have changed and my girls are both in school now I desire to keep on doing what I have been doing and continue to grow my business. I truly enjoy what I do here. I enjoy creating, working with people to help them make their visions a reality and sending out goods that were made with pride and great care.

Making stamps is a result of my educational projects, my love of drawing and need to be creative, and the unconventional spelling of my nickname when I grew up. I had stamps and paper, pens and pencils, stickers and jewelry all with a name very similar to mine....but not my name. Both of my daughters have fairly uncommon names and both of my step-daughters has names with unconventional spellings. We can't get anything for any of us unless it is custom made. Making stamps fixed this problem and gave me something super fun to do! (Which also results in my daughters having something they consider 'super fun' to do.) A person's name is a huge part of their identity.

I invested in an American made photo-polymer machine for the same reason I think Etsy is so great. I believe you really get what you paid for and get out of things what you put into them. It may be less expensive to buy something at a big chain store, but when you shop on Etsy you are getting more value. The love of the artist/crafts person and support of the small business over a huge importer is worth a lot!

I am thankful to have you visit my shop, I hope you enjoy looking around. I try to constantly add things to my store so please check back often. If you don't see what you are looking for, please feel free to contact me. I love creating new items for special requests!

Thanks again! Tamara
