I'm thrilled to be a part of the vibrant and beautifully creative Etsy community!

I can not remember a time when I wasn't smitten with "old stuff" or "junk."
Always drawn to anything with a history - especially when its history was a mystery.
I have a deep admiration for things that were previously loved and cherished and believe there are many like me who prefer something old to something new. Just like people, the old have many adventures waiting, and endless tales yet to tell!

I love all things vintage, and have even spotted some of my personal collection on Mad Men, That 70s Show, The Wonder Years and lots of movies that took place in the 50s-80s.
I am an avid thrift store, flea market, yard sale, free pile and roadside peruser. I think those are more thrilling than Estate sales, because the "rough" that the diamonds are hidden in makes finding them that much more rewarding.
Not that Estate sales aren't freaking awesome and GREAT for pristine finds, I just love giving second or seventh lives to neglected or broken pieces of awesomeness. (Let me know if there's any particular vintage keepsake you're looking for -- I just might have it, or know where to find one.;) )

Working with my hands is a huge source of joy for me. I love to create, repair, repurpose and reinvent. Recently, I made a bonsai display shelf all out of old scraps and would-be kindling. So cool.
Cutting tools (scissors, saws, torches) and tools to bind (glue, nails and screws, needle and thread, solder) are my favorites. And to me, a shard of broken glass or a twisted piece of rusty metal can display simple perfection.
Always remember: If you have an idea or dream, DON'T CARE what others think... Go for it! Be not afraid- pursue! ^_^

Blessings to you! (And congrats on getting through that novel up there! I can't believe you read that whole thing. I mean, it's just ME. haha Thanks.;) )

I hope you enjoy meandering through my shop -- Be sure to take home a souvenir, and come back to see what's new-old!
