About

My love of flowers began at a very young age, mostly attributable to my grandmother who grew things like a magic faerie, she had a magic green thumb and ironically, her name was Flora, Flora Isobel. Her favourite flower was a rose and she grew them magnificiently, along with gladiolus, peonies, lily-of-the-valley and an assortment of other traditional flowers of her generation and era, flowers that have come and gone in popularity. The rose, however, has remained timeless and I will often get lost in a beautiful memory of my grandmother when creating a piece with roses.

I began working with flowers, seeds, pods, stems, grasses, anything I could incorporate to express my work. I hope you find my offerings of interest and please contact me if you have any questions…
