I have played around with many materials & techniques over the years, starting when I was a girl with Grandma teaching me to crochet and Mom teaching me to sew. I've flirted with tatting, knitting, sketching. After a number of incomplete projects I realized I don't do cross-stitch.
My Dad is the family photographer and kept scrapbooks for us way before it was the thing to do, so scrapbooking was a natural thing for me to continue after I left home. That lead to experiments in card making and stamping. It also lead to photography. While other crafts have come and gone, photography has been something that I enjoyed since I got my first digital camera. About two years ago, my husband bought me Photoshop. Now, in addition to loving to take pictures, I love to play with them in Photoshop. Now, I've outgrown my current camera, but new ones are expensive; it's time for the hobby to start supporting itself…
