About

My love of photography started at an early stage in life, when I could see how a scene would unfold thru the viewfinder of my camera. As I grew older, my passion increased. Hundreds and hundreds of pictures have been taken over many years and each still bring a smile or a tear to my heart.

My passion sort of got placed on hold while raising my boys and going to school to become a registered nurse. Both the boys and my calling kept me pretty busy and pictures became something to take at parties, birthdays, holidays and special events.

Upon a change in lifestyle in 2003, I started taking one big vacation a year. During this time, my passion for photography began to reawaken. The scenes thru the viewfinder were like lost friends and we were getting reacquainted.

In 2008, I traded state residences, from Illinois to North Carolina. I promptly fell in love...with the Blue Ridge Mountains and the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. My passion for photography came back with a vengence.

Since then I have traveled up and down the East Coast and fallen in love with and left a little bit of myself in each and every place. I have had many a journey back thru the Midwest and rediscovered the joy and beauty I thought was gone. And this winter, I will be traveling to the West Coast and getting reacquainted with an area I left as a child. My goal is to be in Alaska by the end of 2012 and experience the last untamed wildness of the U.S.A.

So come and join me on my many travels, see what I see with my photographs, drop me a line, and as always, thanks for stopping by!

Angie
