About

E komo mai!

My parents wanted me to major in science because it would mean a more secure career so being the good daughter type I dutifully got a B.S. but the hand-made side of me constantly whined about discrimination and suppression. I really enjoy crafts and art. Beading has become my outlet for this suppressed part of myself and Etsy has bcome the way to support (partially) my habit. My home is in the Islands and the blues, greens and purples in the ocean and the tropical flowers inspire much of what I do.

I use this shop to showcase beaded knicknacks -- stitch markers, vintage items from the past generation's jewelry box and the results of my eternal quest to find a comfortable earring for my intact and no hole ears. My attempts to be taken seriously as a jeweler can be found at http://www.nbtd1.etsy.com
