Hello, welcome to my Etsy shop! My love for hot glass art began at Urban Glass in Brooklyn, New York. There I took a course called The Bead Project; after completion I was hooked! I was breathing glass! I also had the opportunity to take classes with Paul Stankard, Kristina Logan, Shane Fero, Sally Prash & Emilio Santini. From there I began teaching The Bead Project. I assisted and taught classes in Italy which inspired many of my floral pieces. I also taught for 10 years at Glass Roots in Newark, New Jersey a non for profit that brought glass art to children as an after school program and summer camp activity.
I am also a landscape artist, and love going for walks in the woods, to listen to nature and study the wild flowers. Which brings me back into my studio to create realistic glass flowers, people are always asking me, how did I get the flowers in there! Much of my inspiration comes from working in my garden…
