Roxanne Jones' Profile
It may have started way back in England. As my uncle owned a tailor shop in London before and during WWII.
My Mother and her sisters were naturally seamstresses, sewing all their own clothes during the war. Other crafts like tatting, crochet, and oil painting were all among the many interests my Mother shared with me.
I grew up in a home where my Mom stayed home and I just thought all little girls were learning to sew and crochet.
It wasn't until I got a job at a tailer shop, that I realized there were actually some women who didn't even know how to sew on a button, and others didn't own a pair of scissors.
Later, I bought the tailor shop. That was a lot of hours a week, and the boys were young.
Next, I found designing costumes to be fun and rewarding…
