About

I have been scouring flea markets, estate sales, yard sales, and junk shops in my home state of Tennessee and in my travels to Atlanta, Charleston, and all over Kentucky and Alabama since I can remember. And now, since I have moved to Indiana, I have a broader range including Ohio. Never looking for anything in particular, just whatever speaks to me. The more rusted, chippy, and unusual the better. I am passionate about finding objects that have been well loved by others and just waiting to be admired again. I appreciate the authentic and useful objects that also happen to have great design.
I am a self described Anglophile. Having grown up in Nashville and always admiring the horse culture and old Nashville's love of the English style and fox hunting culture. I especially love culinary and gardening items....and books-many of which don't make it to Etsy ;)

I opened another shop on Etsy to offer a different style of vintage that I didn't feel quite fit in my hyperbole shop. It's called foofarawVINTAGE, and there I offer more recent vintage including 80's and early 90's (which I, as a child of the 80's, am personally in denial that these objects are even considered vintage!) foofaraw is a little more fun, less curated, and maybe a little more "kitschy" It's my alter ego...

I love to post pics and peruse beautiful photos on Instagram, you can find me there under hyperbolevintage

Cheers and thank you for checking out my shop-let me know what you think :)
Enjoy!
