About

Welcome!
Thank you for your visit and now a little about me...
The place I call home is part of the Cerbat Mountain Range where some of the last Wild Spanish Mustangs run free. Hiking mountains and being seen often by these majestic horses I've been allowed by them to experience the great spirit of the wild. We share this great landscape everyday.
We are located about 20 miles North of Kingman, Arizona, in one of the most breath taking landscapes the desert has to offer.
We are backed up against BLM land and free range cattle are some of the friends we see everyday.
I love adventure. Hiking these mountains has allowed me to see all that nature has to offer... a healing experience.
There is nothing that brings me more joy than to go that extra mile!

The spirit of the old west truly lives on and sparks…

There is nothing that brings me more joy than to go that extra mile!

The spirit of the old west truly lives on and sparks my passion to create everyday.
Old rusted metal is my most desired canvas to create upon.
A weathered surface intrigues me like no other.
I imagine in my my mind's eye the shape or color that must be expressed.
I am compelled by this process..a need for me to share as I start to paint.

Some of my work can be seen in Newman Gallery located in Prescott, AZ
Near Old Whiskey Row. Home of Dave Newman's world class and iconic art work. The whole gallery is packed with art from many artists. The Newman Gallery is a "must see" while visiting Prescott.

I've also taken part of a group show "Rabbit! Rabbit"
Art Inspired by Arctic Hares, Snowshoe Hares and Magical, Mythical Rabbits at the North Gallery in South Hamilton, MA.
For this show my painting "Rabbit Totem" was on display.

This creative journey has linked me to amazing people all over the globe.
My art reaches out and is sent all over the world. A colorful remnant filled with the energy of the 'wild and the free' that continue to roam the Mohave Desert.
I've crossed paths with so many wonderful people on this creative path. Many are special friends today.
Nothing is more endearing than to share a connection with someone through one of my paintings.`

My found objects from the desert floor would surely bring a piece of the 'Old West' home to you.
Canvases that were a part of this landscape, many untouched for decades. Now, infused with one of my paintings I feel they can be shared.... perhaps an old soul of the desert has been renewed.

I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart, Haven Kimmel. A magnificent author of many books. ALL of them a 'Must Read.' We met through my "Apocalypse Crow." I'm honored that some of my work is part of her art collection. My paintings acting as a symbolic connection. I will always remember how she helped give me strength to continue.

Amber Jean is a Super Woman that carves Reliquaries out of huge trees, creates magnificent bronze works, and has a massive body of work depicting Wild Horses and the complex carved scenes inspired by her travels.
Synchronicity brought us together through one of my Crows…and the most heartfelt 'Never Promised you a Rose Garden'
We share each others works and she has truly touched my spirit.

Ron Ireland is a talented Folk Singer and song writer and a DARN good Banjo player in Virginia!
My Crows, Ravens and Troubled Angels decorate Mary Sue and Ron's home, I'm blessed with their friendship. Mary Sue and the 'Crow' an artful bond forever.

Lorry, Margaret, and Suzanne for being the first to fall in love with my Sacred Snakes and Troubled Angels
OHH and the U.F.Os lol WE crossed paths and will forever be like family.

I could go on and on and I will add more soon...thoughts of all the special friends sharing this journey, helping along the way. I'm grateful and this love sparks for my passion as I continue to live the creative life. The wild horses I come in contact with teach me to remain free to express my colorful world.
