I have established relationships with clients in each area of the art industry, from editorial illustrations for magazines and comic books to concept art and advertising.

I taught at Virginia Commonwealth University for over four years, instructing: Concept Art, Figure Drawing, Digital Drawing, Type & Image, Sequential Imaging, Senior Project/Studio, Visual Studies: Design, and Comics & Graphic Novels.

I continue to serve as an educator for rising illustrators through The Art Educators Blog, started in March 2010, when I teamed up with illustrators Tomer Hanuka, Frank Stockton, Sterling Hundley, Josh George (and several others) to provide advice and show step–by–step process to students and young artists.

My work has received several awards from organizations like: 3×3 Magazine, Creative Quarterly, American Illustration, Richmond Illustrator's Club, Society of Illustrators of NY, Society of Illustrators of LA, and Evangelical Press Association.
