Sandra Cohen studied fine art at Parsons School of Design, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Art Institute of Boston. She was juried into the Copley Society of Art in 2000 and is the recipient of a 2008 Painting Fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Formerly the singer and guitarist for the bands Grind and Planet Queen, Cohen currently resides in Cambridge, where she paints, plays drums/guitar/bass with Pink Mantis and Ghostprint, and bakes one consumption-defiant cake per year.
Well, there you have it: me, writing about myself in the third person. If you were interested in me, I'd send you to look at the art anyways because it says the most possible about me. I can only say that I am inspired by other people's art, literature, science, and most of all, music.
