I grew up in Cheshire, CT, the oldest of three children. I spent five years at the Oberlin College and Conservatory where I got my B.A. in neuroscience and B.Mus. in organ performance. I am currently a graduate student in the department of neurobiology and anatomy at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
I learned to knit three separate times, but it only stuck when I was applying to college and had too much directionless nervous energy. Since then knitting has been a source of patience, entertainment, and inspiration for me, not to mention soft, warm goodies for myself and others.
