About

Hello and welcome to my Etsy shop. I'm a native of New Orleans and it should be no surprise I love all things vintage, as well as saturated color in bright & happy hues. I especially love turquoise, lime, banana, orange, fuchsia, periwinkle and the many shades of green and blue associated with the sea. I’m sure my love of color (in all its definitions) lies in a lifetime of exposure to the history, food, music and architecture of that elegant and decadent city that nestles inside a bend of the Mississippi River as it meanders its way south to the Gulf of Mexico. The French, Spanish & Caribbean roots of the city, as well as its long and storied history make it (literally and figuratively) a colorful place indeed. I recently had the opportunity to move to San Antonio. It's quite different from New Orleans but I'm enjoying the experience and learning my way around. It has a colorful culture all its own. I constantly go back and forth between both cities and frequently attend estate sales and auctions in both locations. It gives me lots of variety for my etsy shop. I only buy what I love and would use in my own home. I think vintage items add so much character and personality to a home. They instill a sense of history that new items cannot. Best of all, you are almost guaranteed not to find them in your neighbors' homes. Please don't hesitate to convo me with any questions or comments. I enjoy getting to know new friends. Thanks.
