I am a stay at home mom of a 2nd and a 5th grader. Before I had children I was an Art Director for Fortune magazine. I left the working world behind to be with my children as they grow up. I have always been creative and found while being at home, I had an unbearable desire to create. After dabbling in many different crafts I found myself making crayons out of my sons old, broken crayons. The idea sparked when he would play with his Crayola Crayon Maker. I wanted to show him he could make crayons into other shapes other than long, skinny crayons. We made all sorts of shapes out of whatever mold I could find. It was addicting and finally became what Scribblers Crayons® is today.
Aside from bribing and begging the neighbors’ kids to help with the crayon peeling on beautiful evenings, Scribblers Crayons® is a one woman shop. I have a very supportive husband that understands my need to…
