About

To me, walking into a fabric store is sort of like walking into a bakery. The beautiful colors and textures are very exciting to my senses. The only thing lacking in a fabric store is the wonderful smell of baked bread. I began my love affair with fabric when I was about twelve years old. I started sewing my own clothes at that time and after moving from the east coast several years ago, I began making quilts. I like to keep current on what's desirable in the home. Modern and cottage style are both favorites of mine. I'm also a big fan of natural fibers and materials and prefer using top quality quilting fabrics because creating a handmade item takes a special kind of effort and should be worth keeping for years.
