I have always loved the seasons, having lived in the Midwest and the Rocky Mountains, and now in the beautiful Sonoran Desert of Arizona. But here in the desert, I miss snow! So my snowflake ornaments help with that a little bit! Baking is a passion of mine, to have dough rising in the oven is magic, it's warmth and scent filling the house with sweetness! I love to make cookies, cakes, and other goodies to reflect every season and holiday.

About

I have always loved the seasons, having lived in the Midwest and the Rocky Mountains, and now in the beautiful Sonoran Desert of Arizona. But here in the desert, I miss snow! So my snowflake ornaments help with that a little bit! Baking is a passion of mine, to have dough rising in the oven is magic, it's warmth and scent filling the house with sweetness! I love to make cookies, cakes, and other goodies to reflect every season and holiday.
I create ornaments that look like cookies, but last and can be enjoyed each year: snowflakes, angels, and other ornaments, some elegant, some whimsical, all are my own designs. These ornaments take much time, with many steps: from their start in the oven, all scented with cinnamon, cloves, and ginger, to their icing-like white, raised, intricate swirls, to section by section sealing with a brush, to their final dusting of lustrous glass glitter, with drying tie between each step. These are purely for non-edible delight, for decorating windows, mirrors, chandeliers, china cabinets, and of course, Christmas trees!
Other crafts appear on occasion, too, like watercolor paintings and note cards, paper crafts, wool felt crafts, and whatever I am up to at the time.
