I grew up in a small town born with a slight handicap, making me different from the start. I never considered myself handicapped. To me, a handicap is something that you had and lost. So, if you didn't have it to begin with you don't miss it. Growing up was however quite difficult, being "different" even in the slightest way made you an outcast.
I can't remember a time when I wasn't creating something. Whether it be an imaginary friend to play with or a new mixture for mud pies. I spent a lot of my youth inventing things, coloring and painting. I found I could express myself in a variety of artistic mediums.
I love color, even get excited about the colors we can't see (like ultraviolet and infrared). And, I have had the pleasure of trying everything from pastels to stained glass and much in between.
I also enjoy nature, it has taught me to notice fine…
