Sentiment Redesigned is the result of my fascination with beautifully crafted "thought", and the joy that comes from working with metal.
I live in Seattle, and work in my home-studio that overlooks beautiful Lake Union. I constantly crave sushi, love the cultural diversity found here, and am awed by the staggering beauty of the Pacific Northwest. It is truly magnificent.
A twig, a leaf, the texture found on a sea shell retrieved from the shores of Puget Sound, will often find its way into one of my pendant designs. By combining these elements with an intimate "sentiment" or philosophy, the convergence results in a piece of jewelry that evokes deep emotion and personal meaning for the individual wearer. Second only to the joy of creating these limited editions, is the happiness that I feel when someone shares the significance that each "sentiment" holds for them…

A portion of each sale will be donated to YOUTHCARE in Seattle. YouthCare runs the only 24/7 emergency shelter for youth under 18 in Seattle. Over 1,000 homeless youth are on the streets each night with no safe shelter or place to stay. YouthCare attempts to offer some relief to this tragic situation in the city of Seattle.
