I have an insatiable need to know how things relate to one another.I have this theory that everything was created from the same stuff. So everything carries the seeds of oneness, just waiting to be triggered by our recognition of connection to a greater whole and each other.
My work reflects some little piece of the connection puzzle that I've managed to figure out. If you find a yourself saying "Wow, that reminds me of the _______ !" or "Hey, I get it! Aphorisms and Quality Assurance
*********************************

My Mom started me down this path with fine needlework at an early age. There are many relationships that bloom in your brain as the small stitches add up. But more enduring were the philosophies beyond the stitches: Handmade, not Homemade. The Back should look as good as the Front. Expertise and craftsmanship are earned, not poured in your head like hot lead. Yes, she was (and is) tough to please. But when you did, you could be justifiably proud.

My mother would be pleased with all the items listed in my shop. It would be tough to do better than that! Trust me, if she ever doesn't - it won't be a secret. So now I get to toss out my own sage advice: the process of creation doesn't require patience; patience is created by the process. Something my own kids can quote. There! I've made a connection with my Mom!
