I'm a native Okie and enjoy living in Oklahoma with our rich Native American heritage. Being creative has been a part of my life since I was a child. I've had many creative outlets throughout my life. I learned to sew watching my mother make my clothes when I was young. I taught myself to crochet, macramé and make homemade bread and preserves. But what I love to do most is make jewelry. I am inspired by the colors, shapes and textures of the gemstones. Cabochons and precious metal wire are my favorite media. But color is probably the main element in my designs. I love combining colors in designs that speak to me. Mother Nature has provided a wondrous palate of colors and jewelry making is an awesome way to get to play with them.
