I've always loved creating art ever since I was a child. It all began with crayons and paper. I would spend ours upon hours just drawing to my hearts content! It morphed into markers and pencils as I grew up. I loved to experiment with colors and patterns. In my later years, I found a new love, PAPER! I discovered how great it was when I was studying in college as an Interior Design Major. We had to create boards, collages and books to showcase our ideas. The hand-made quality of all of the presentation projects is what got me hooked. I loved creating one-of-a-kind pieces and shopping for supplies. The art store had so many different papers to choose from, I wanted them all!
I got into card-making when I had to find a card for a special friend's birthday. I couldn't find what i was looking for so I decided to use some leftover paper and materials from my projects. I enjoyed coming up with the design. The result was…

I enjoyed coming up with the design. The result was a unique card which my friend loved. Her eyes lit up when she opened the envelope and that's how I knew I wanted to continue making cards.
