Jennifer Egan's Profile

About

I create distinctive whimsical artwork including paintings, pillows, totes & ornaments to enhance everyday living.

Originally trained as an illustrator, my work is inspired mostly by the changing nature & seasons that surround us. Experimenting & juxtaposing brilliant colors that appear throughout the year, gives me incredible delight!
My work is designed to bring joy, happiness, & humor to art-loving homes. Hopefully making people ponder the "not-so-ordinary" in day to day life.

Every piece is a one-of-a-kind design drawn, painted or sewn by my own hands in a tiny workshop named "Shivery Moon Studio." It is located on the edge of deep blue Lake Tahoe, California surrounded by snow-covered mountains. On a quiet day, you can hear the whir of my vintage 1968 sewing machine... working away!
