My name is Bobby, I make stuff out of leather, real leather. I use classic coin hardware on most of my items. I design all the pieces from the ground up. I make the patterns, buy the leather, cut it, punch it, assemble and stitch it, attach any hardware, package and mail it - all by hand in the good old U.S.A.
My Silver Dollar Leather is handmade leather products with character. These are pieces that will turn heads. My pieces are not mass produced in some overseas factory. All items are handmade by yours truly, Bobby Stapf, in my workshop in Los Angeles, CA. Each item is designed by me, hand cut from the finest full-grain and top-grain leathers, punched by hand, and hand stitched using strong, 70lb. test sinew for a lifetime of use.
My Silver Dollar Leather items also feature classic coin hardware. I use museum quality replica coin conchos on all pieces. 1881 Morgan Silver Dollars are used on most pieces, and some feature 1922 Peace Dollars and Buffalo/Indian Head Nickels.
I have been doing more festivals, craft shows and events and have been building up inventory of some items. If you need a quicker turn time than listed on a certain item, send me a message, I may have one ready to go out faster for that last minute birthday, anniversary or just because.
