Silverdustis' Profile

About

I'm a retired interior designer and have always loved glittery, colorful accessories, both for the home and for myself. Time came when I had to give up the large load of paper and fabric samples, catalogues, and I became a jewelry designer in Maine. I'm enchanted by the natural colors and textures of nature here on the seacoast. My jewelry is inspired by this vivid postcard in which I live: the sparkling blue water of the ocean, the brilliant skies, rich greens of the foliage. As the seasons change from winters snow to spring flowers a vivid palette of artist's colors is abundant. My work is done in glass, silver, semi-precious stones, and semi-precious metals. I have three distinct bodies of work which you will discover as you browze. I welcome your comments, and when you see a piece that beckons you, let me know and it can be yours!!
