Hi! Thanks for taking the time to visit my shop and have a look around.

I’ve been making jewelry with seed beads since I was 12, and my fondness for tiny beads is still going strong. I learned basic metalworking techniques in college and began experimenting with lost wax casting in 2002. With metals, the learning process is never-ending—there’s always something new to try.

Much of my work unites these various approaches to working in metal, and I often combine lost wax casting with constructed elements. I love working with my hands, and that’s reflected in my jewelry and sculptural pieces. I enjoy making constructed jewelry “from scratch,” starting with simple sheet metal and wire and my own designs.

I enjoy making constructed jewelry “from scratch,” starting with simple sheet metal and wire and my own designs.

I double-majored in art and natural science, and my husband and I are entomologists (he’s the one with the Ph.D.), so much of my inspiration comes from the gorgeous complexity of the natural world and the insects we love. In our spare time, we enjoy traveling, eating good food, and spoiling our cats.
