I began my studies in herbalism and natural healing arts in 2007 when I decided to try alternate methods for healing my long-standing ailments. My passion for using plant extracts as a tool for optimal health and well-being became a passion practically overnight as I experienced rapid changes in my …body’s functions and a positively, renewed outlook on my life.

I studied at the Universal College of Indigenous Medicine where I became an apprentice and personal assistant to the master teacher/founder for 6 years. During that time I integrated the healing methods with hours of “sit-in” sessions and case studies, student teaching, and my own private consulting practice, as well as offering my professional services as a personal cook that emphasized food as medicine.

Since then, I expanded my knowledge of healing naturally with the art of healing touch to harmonize the life energy in the body, and shamanism. After more than 3 years of working with a Sangoma (Initiated African Shaman/Traditional Healer) to get in touch with my roots and deeper reveal my path to healing, I spent one year in a shamanic apprenticeship program which deeply impacted my relationship to the earth/plants and influenced my practice of making natural, handcrafted herbal remedies. Currently, I share an authentic and personalized service that emphasizes my gifts and calling to help others heal themselves with herbs, food, lifestyle, and self-empowerment philosophies. The incredible journey that nature’s medicine has facilitated for me continues to inspire me to share my experiential wisdom with others.
