While my first love is jewelry design, my creative life has been enhanced by several years studing acrylic, oil and watercolor painting with Portland, Maine artist Jane Wray, and artist/photographer, Elaine Tselikis.

As a very young child I was inspired in my love of color and jewelry making by my favorite and rather eccentric aunt whose flair for fashion and millinary was original, daring, imaginative and trend setting. My aunt encouraged me to play, create and have fun with beads, buttons, material, feathers, paint and jewelry. This tickled me with an incredible delight when I was a kid. I carry that same feeling within me today when I design jewelry.

Jewelry design is an important part of my creative life. I often dream about the stones, metals and other materials I have, and actually design many pieces of jewelry this way…
