Carolyn Jones' Profile

About

I am a jewelry artist who lives in the Pinelands of South Jersey with my husband, two children, a dog and three cats. I love working with copper and silver wire, semiprecious stones, glass beads and crystals. My favorite colors are blues and greens and I love copper wire. I would love to create a custom-order for you if you have an idea or different color in mind. It is my goal to make you a piece of jewelry that you will adore receiving or giving.

Creating things makes me happy. I lose track of time when I'm in the process of making something, whether it's a bit of writing, a painting, drawing or, as I recently discovered, jewelry. My story started when I took a class on wire wrapping jewelry at a local fine art store. As I wrapped the wire around a piece of beach glass I felt something click inside. This is what I want to do. I am a jewelry artist who lives in the Pinelands of South Jersey with my husband, two children, a dog and three cats. I love working with copper and silver wire, semiprecious stones, glass beads and crystals. My favorite colors are blues and greens and I love copper wire. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to pursue my passion!

When I'm not wrapping wire around a bead or polished stone, I find myself thinking about new designs, reading books on jewelry, or learning a new technique. This means that I will always offer a variety of jewelry in my store that are unique and make you feel beautiful and special when you wear them.

So, why did I name my store Sleepy Cat Jewelry? It's pretty simple. I'm a crazy cat lady who loves jewelry and naps.
