I'm a poor college student, running a small hobby-turned-business on the side. I recently moved to Spokane from the San Francisco area, and I don't have residency yet (school is super expensive), so I'm taking a break and trying to make chainmaille my full-time job.

I love mailling... its often relaxing (although sometimes not at all), and I love seeing the symmetry of the weaves come into being from a jumbled pile.

I started mailling after watching a Lord of The Rings marathon in 2007.
I made HP4-1 bracelets for friends for free for a while until someone asked, "How much?". It hadn't really occurred to me to charge for them.

I started selling those same bracelets... but after a year of that, I had exhaust my market of friends who didn't have bracelets, so I decided to reach out to the internet! A few years later, I latched on to the idea of selling kits alongside my finished pieces. I got started with a couple hundred rings I found on ebay... and look at what it turned into!
And here we are. You reading this. Me selling chainmaille and supplies.

I used to make my own rings when I started, but even before I started selling them I realized that it was much cheaper to just buy rings in bulk than the time it took me to make fewer, lower quality rings... and it's much more fun to MAKE chainmaille than rings.
