About

I have been sewing for about 20 years. I spent 4 years in a top ranked fashion school (Kent State University, degree is in fine art). I have always had a passion for 1950's fashion (if only my mom would have caved to letting me wear poodle skirts and saddle shoes as an 8 year old!) and focus on producing my favorite styles of dresses for myself and others who want to have a little fun in their wardrobe!
I started making my own dresses after growing tired of seeing other girls wearing the same thing as me. After years of making dresses just for myself, and much prodding from others, I decided to start selling my dresses. It was difficult, as dressmaking is a labor of love for me. I feel better knowing that each dress will no doubt, find a good home that will love it as much as I do!
I put a lot of effort and care into each piece. All dresses have side slit pockets and invisible zippers. I line the bodice and serge every seam. Some of the dresses pictured are over 5 years old. I wear them on a daily basis, and since I am most comfortable in this style of dress, they endure a lot of wear and tear (I am talking physical labor at my retail job, house cleaning, car washing, the loading and unloading of uhauls!) They take a beating and hold up well, I have never had to repair one of my dresses due to wear and tear.
Hope you love my shop! Email me with any questions or concerns, and I will reply in a timely maner.

-See you on the dance floor!
