About

I live close to the small town of Edgewood on the beautiful Arrow Lake in British Columbia Canada. I am second generation born and raised here. My mother taught me to crochet when I was 12 and how to turn a heel when I was about 18. I live with my husband Ron of 37 years, we have one married son and a beautiful granddaughter and a handsome grandson whom we love very much. My daughter-in-law of TangleWoodThicket Creations got me interested in needle felting! She encouraged me to open my own shop here on Etsy. I bought some locally grown unwashed wool, that I had fun learning to wash and hand dye. I used my mothers old paddle carders til recently when I purchased a used drum carder! It has been a wonderful experience, my husband is very supportive of my work! I also play 12 string guitar and write all my own songs. I also grow a large a garden every year, I believe in total organic gardening.
