I credit my interest in vintage and upcycling to the thrills of thrift shopping at an early age. Growing up, hand-me-downs and modifying thrift store finds was a necessity. I think I was a DIY goner the first time I cut holes with little blunt scissors in a fabric scrap and shoved it onto my Barbie doll as a new dress. As an adult, it was a natural transition into “upcycling." Nothing gives me more satisfaction than turning an ugly duckling item bound for the trash into a white swan. It’s the transformational process with my pieces, as with life, that rocks my socks. I spend a great deal of time modifying and perfecting each crafted product line, and I believe Etsy is the perfect venue to share my passion!
